Silicone - Solid Core Design
Our arresters with silicone housing in Solid Core Design of the SBK series are available for up to 170 kV.
As for all our arresters with silicone housing we use high quality LSR Silicone, which keeps its hydrophobic and UV-resistant/non ageing properties over the complete service life and ensures excellent artificial pollution performance.
Because of their modular design our SBK arresters in Solid Core Design can be easily manufactured adapting to variable lengths, creepage distances and clearances in accordance with customer requirements. Due to their very low weight they are an ideal solution for application as transmission line arresters in addition to their use as station arresters.
